At Broughton CE Primary School, our aim is for our children to become expert geographers equipped with knowledge-based learning that exposes them to world around them. We aim for all children to have a love for, and a great understanding of places, people and human and physical environments. Our own model of the CUSP Curriculum supports teaching blocks, which are carefully designed to be knowledge-based, with a firm understanding of vocabulary that builds upon prior learning. This enables our children to confidently retrieve knowledge from prior learning and become experts in this curriculum area.
